Death is not the End – Taking on the Materialist Taboo
Recorded on October 9, 2026
See the LINKS mentioned in the webinar below
What if death is not the end of consciousness, but a transition into something we are only beginning to understand?
David Lorimer, Marjorie Woollacott, William Peters, and Felicity Warner explore of one of humanity’s oldest and most profound questions: What happens when we die?
This ConnectIONS Live conversation introduces Death Is Not the End, a new international initiative seeking to challenge the materialist assumption that consciousness simply ceases at death and to create greater openness around conversations about death and dying.
Drawing from both scientific research and spiritual traditions, the panel explores phenomena that raise intriguing questions about the nature and possible continuity of consciousness, including near-death experiences, shared-death experiences, after-death communications, terminal lucidity, mediumship, and reincarnation.
Together, the speakers considers what emerging research can and cannot tell us about consciousness at the threshold of death, why these experiences deserve serious inquiry, and how engaging more openly with death might transform the way we understand life itself.
