Join author, professor, and IONS Emeritus Fellow, Christopher M. Bache, for a special ConnectIONS live on May 20th as he shares about his latest book, LSD and the Mind of the Universe. In this book, Christopher tells the story of his 20-year journey with LSD – 73 high dose sessions conducted between 1979-1999 following Stanislav Grof’s protocol. Trained as a philosopher of religion, this journey became the philosophical adventure of his lifetime. He spent years digesting his experiences, pondering their implications, and trying to integrate the truths he was shown. Now that psychedelics are returning to legitimate scientific and academic discourse, Christopher is sharing his experiment in doing psychedelic philosophy – the methodology used, the dimensions of consciousness that opened, the challenge of achieving sustained communion with these dimensions, and the visions he was given of an impending global crisis and the birth of the Future Human.
