Cohering a Collective Consciousness

June 19, 2020 11:00 am - 12:15 pm (PDT)

As part of our Spring fundraising campaign we are offering a special webinar series on Collective Consciousness. Join us for three inspiring and information-packed sessions — free and open to all!

Coherence is an organizing principle of the Universe that implies order, harmony, and the efficient use of energy. Decades of experimental research suggest coherent human attention and emotion impacts a collective energetic field environment that connects all beings, is intertwined with physical reality, and is outside the conventional boundaries of space and time, in beneficial ways. In Session 2, we’ll share some practical applications of what’s being learned, and explore the significance for ourselves and for participating in our world in transition.

Panelists:

Rollin McCratyRollin McCraty, PhD, is Director of Research of the HeartMath Research Center at the HeartMath Institute. He is also a visiting Professor at Florida Atlantic University. As a psychophysiologist, Dr. McCraty’s research interests include the physiology of emotion, with a focus on the mechanisms by which emotions influence cognitive processes, behavior, and health as well as the global interconnectivity between people and the earth’s energetic systems. Findings from this research have been applied to the development of tools and technology to optimize individual and organizational health, performance, and quality of life.

Rev. Floyd ThompkinsRev. Floyd Thompkins is passionate about facilitating sensitive real-world issues and implementing meaningful, relevant community initiatives to make a positive difference. He was Professor of Psychology at Johnson State College in northern Vermont, and in 1980 joined the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) lab to coordinate research. His focus is on mental interactions, anomalous information transfer, and effects on physical systems by individuals and groups. He created the Global Consciousness Project in 1997, building a world-spanning random number generator network designed to gather evidence of coalescing global consciousness. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
