As part of our Spring fundraising campaign we are offering a special webinar series on Collective Consciousness. Join us for three inspiring and information-packed sessions — free and open to all!
In the first session of the series, Dr. Bruce Damer will share what his scientific work on the origins of life suggests about our interconnectedness and “our most important work of the 21st century,” and guide us through an experience of the field. Dr. Barbara Dossey will discuss how decades of working at the forefront of holistic medicine and creating a consciousness of global healthcare and inclusiveness led her to conduct a collective consciousness experiment to benefit the world’s nurses. IONS Chief Scientist Dr. Dean Radin will reveal what our science experiments suggest about a shared consciousness, the physical world, and the role of intention, belief, and motivation.

Expert Panelists:
Bruce Damer, PhD, is Canadian-American multi-disciplinary scientist, designer, and author. Dr. Damer collaborates with colleagues developing and testing a new model for the origin of life on Earth and in the design of spacecraft architectures to provide a viable path for expansion of human civilization beyond the Earth. He began his career in the 1980s developing some of the earliest user interfaces for personal computers, led a community in the 1990s bringing the first multi-user virtual worlds to the Internet, and since 2000 supported NASA and the space industry on numerous simulations and spacecraft designs.
Barbara Dossey, PhD, RN, has played an instrumental role in expanding the domain of traditional nursing. As a pioneer in the holistic nursing and nurse coaching movements, she has worked to advance the practice and philosophies of holistic care, both within the health professions and in the lives of lay people. Barbara articulates how healing is promoted by attending to the delicate interaction of body, mind, and spirit and how centuries-old concepts can be successfully applied in the care of patients and in everyday living.
Dean Radin, PhD, is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Associated Distinguished Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Before joining the research staff at IONS in 2001, he held appointments at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International. Dr. Radin is author or coauthor of hundreds of technical and popular articles, some 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, four dozen book chapters, and four best-selling books. He has given over 500 invited presentations and interviews for government, military, business, scientific, and popular groups around the world.
