Dates & Times

Conference Begins: May 30 at 2:00 PM PDT

The virtual doors open at 2 pm PDT! Come on in, look around, and see what the 2024 IONS conference has to offer, including Exhibitor Booths & Discussion Tables (more about these below). We’ll have a brief Blessing Ceremony at 2:30 PM PDT with author, performance artist, and spiritual advisor Yeye Luisah Teish. You can begin meeting other registrants in our Fluid Space and Speed Networking sessions and then settle in for our Opening Plenary Session at 4:00 PM PDT. Welcome!

Conference Ends: June 2 at 4:00 PM PDT

Session Types

As you review the schedule, you’ll notice there are several different types of sessions.

PRESENTER SESSIONS

• Plenaries are sessions for all attendees to gather at the same time (no other sessions are scheduled during plenaries). A plenary session may have a single presenter, multiple presenters, or a panel. The Chat function is available for use during plenaries, but we will not be taking questions from the audience at that time, so the Q&A and Raise Hand features are unavailable. Plenaries will be recorded for later viewing.
• Breakouts are multiple sessions held concurrently. Registrants may attend a single breakout session or move between them. Breakout sessions will be recorded for later viewing. Most breakout sessions will utilize the Chat function as well as the Q&A function so attendees may comment and ask questions.
• Morning Noetic Practice. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will feature a meditation or movement session.  Expert practitioners will guide you through a transformative practice to set the tone for your day. You can watch the Instant Replay at any time during the conference for an additional boost of inspiration.

COMMUNITY SESSIONS

We have also scheduled times during the conference to meet people and build community.

• Speed Networking sessions will pair you with another individual for a five-minute conversation and then automatically pair you with a new person. It’s a great way to quickly get to know a variety of people attending the conference.
• Fluid Space is a virtual room. Just like a meeting room in a physical venue, in the Fluid Space session you can “walk up” to a person or group of people and join in a conversation via audio and video.
• The Discussion Lounge features virtual tables labeled with specific topics, where you can connect with others who are interested in the same topic. 

Fluid Space and Speed Networking are scheduled at several different times throughout the conference. The Discussion Lounge is open throughout the event, so feel free to drop in at any time and see who you meet. You can also make a plan to reconnect at the Lounge with someone you meet during the Fluid Space and Lightening chats.

Exhibitor Booths

Engage with over 30 organizations and individuals that offer practices, services, and information that can help deepen our understanding of ourselves, our world, and our purpose. You’ll find a rich array of offerings, try out sample sessions, and get access to bonuses. Meet some of our favorite colleagues from collaborating organizations, including friends who are new to the IONS universe. Drop by the IONS booth to meet some of our staff and try out our experiential offerings.

Exhibitor Booths are open throughout the conference, so feel free to come by at any time. Most of our Exhibitors will be available at their booths to talk, share their work, and answer your questions on:

• Thursday, May 30, 6:00 – 7:00 pm PDT
• Friday, May 31, 3:00 – 5:00 pm PDT
• Saturday, June 1,  3:00 – 5:00 pm PDT
• Sunday, June 2, 2:30 – 4:00 pm PDT

Some Exhibitors will hold special hours, so make sure to check in or leave a chat for those that you are particularly interested in connecting with.

Evening Entertainment

Friday

Join us for In Pursuit of an Infinite Mindset, an intimate session of mystery, wonder, and possibilities that will blow your mind, a journey beyond time and space…to infinity! Gerard Senahi is a world-renowned ExperiMentalist who has performed for royalty, presidents, and heads of states. He has been featured on television internationally including The Today Show, Ellen, CNN and Fox News. New York Magazine referred to his performance as “some sort of religious experience from another century.” This fun and mind-blowing session for the whole family, will bring to life the beauty of an infinite mindset.

This session will NOT be recorded, so don’t miss it!

Saturday

From the acclaimed director of Fantastic Fungi comes another remarkable film: Gratitude Revealed.

Described as a transformational cinematic experience, it aims to teach us how to lead a more meaningful life. Through intimate interviews with everyday people, thought leaders, and personalities — including some IONS conference presenters, both past and present — filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg shows how gratitude is a proven path to overcoming the disconnection we often feel in our lives. Join us for this truly special global viewing party!

Presenter Recordings

AVAILABLE FOR TWO WEEKS!

• The Plenary, Breakout, Morning Noetic Practice, and Saturday Night Movie sessions will be recorded and available for instant replay throughout the 4 days of the conference.
• Additionally, the recordings will be available to registrants for 10 days following the Conference for you to watch at your leisure.
