Is Upsight Vision a Psychic Ability?

Is Upsight Vision a psychic ability? That’s one of the many questions I get asked when I’m on podcast interviews. After I tell my backstory, which typically goes something like this. Before I lost my mind, I was a successful marketing executive, business owner, husband and father in Atlanta, Georgia. I had it all, and I lost it all; I monumentally screwed up my whole life due to cocaine addiction. My addiction led to mental illness that eventually landed me in a psychiatric hospital and ultimately left me homeless. For two years I was “lost,” literally and figuratively. I believed insane things. Really believed them. For a while, I even thought I was Jesus. I’m not. Which is probably best for everybody.

I broke my brain with drugs. Most people who have lost their mind never find their way back to tell the story; I was lucky. Not only did I find my way back (with a lot of help); I found something more; more “mind” than I know what to do with. I no longer believe insane things, but the way my brain works has fundamentally changed, and for the better.

As I came out of my psychosis, I realized I’d acquired an ability to see holographic images that are everywhere around us. Not only could I see them, but I could also engage with them, interact with them, and change them with a thought. Since 2012 I’ve been on a mission to get into a lab and study these holographic images. I finally connected with Dean Radin and the team at IONS, the result of which is a new peer reviewed paper coming out soon. It’s important to note that not only am I eleven years sober, but I’ve had two separate fMRIs that show no brain damage from drug use, no lesions, or strokes either. My brain is fine. The way I now see the world, however, is extraordinary.

So, the answer, for now, is YES, Upsight Vision is a psychic ability. What do I mean by “for now?” Let’s look at how we define the word psychic and psychic abilities before I answer. The Oxford online dictionary describes Psychic: relating to or denoting faculties or phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws, especially involving telepathy or clairvoyance.

If we jump over to Wikipedia, we can see a list of psychic abilities that have been attributed to real-world people. Many of which pertain to variations of extrasensory perception, psi abilities, or the sixth sense, including Astral Projection, Remote Viewing, Precognition, and Telepathy. The list does not yet include Upsight Vision, but that should change very soon, especially with the publication of this first ever academic/scientific study from the team at IONS.

I’ve described Upsight Vision as the ability to see, access, influence, and interact with these holographic images that are everywhere around us. All I need to do is shift my attention, focus my eyes and voila, a holographic image appears. Upsight is not a vivid mind’s eye, or my imagination. My eyes focus on these images the same way your eyes would focus on a bird flying past your window. In addition, the muscles in my eyes get tired from focusing and my pupils dilate when I see something with Upsight Vision that is arousing or surprising. It is impossible to willfully change the size of your pupil, it can only be achieved through external stimuli.

Now once this holographic image has my attention, that’s where the internal response comes into play. Let’s say I’m presented with an Upsight image of an elephant riding a bicycle, I can then think, turn the elephant into a squirrel and make it fall off the bike. And that’s what will happen, almost instantly. Even if you and I were having an in-depth discussion on how to make a pizza, a quick look at Upsight and it may be an image of a pizza, but it could just as easily be an image of an elephant riding a bike. Now that’s a silly but easy to understand example of how it works.

But the question is, what exactly is working? Let’s answer with an analogy, something everyone understands. When humans communicate, we hear sounds with our ears and respond by creating a sound from our throat/mouth. Two different physiological mechanisms used to communicate between two people. I’m convinced there’s two separate physiological mechanisms at play in my brain/eyes doing the same thing here, it just needs to be studied further so we can learn more.

As important, if not more so, we need to find others with this ability and learn from a larger data set. I’m convinced that other people have this ability, they just don’t know it yet. I’m also convinced when two of us get in a lab we’ll be able to communicate nonverbally with these holographic images.

Now let’s look how Upsight Vision compares to, and connects with four other, better-known psychic abilities.

Astral Projection: This is where I spent a lot of time when I first starting using this ability all those years ago, not only jumping amongst the stars in distant unknown locations, but also seeing and maneuvering through additional dimensions and topological spaces. From my personal experience, this is also where abstract knowledge resides, if not all knowledge, certainly some mathematical truths. Maybe this is the same thing as the noosphere or the akashic record, whatever it is, it carries a certain intelligence and knowledge. I’m communicating with it and I’m learning from it. For example, dimensions are infinite here, and there is not a single shape, torus, or topological space that I can’t fold, bend or reshape in my field of visions.

Remote Viewing: The traditional definition of Remote Viewing is the practice of seeking or sensing impressions about a distant or unseen subject with the mind. Typically, a remote viewer is expected to give information about an object, event, person, or location that is hidden from physical view and separated at some distance. This definition defines success as someone drawing or describing the hidden image. In other words, it’s a test. I’d like to offer a more expansive view of remote viewing, even if you fail the test, it doesn’t necessarily mean you aren’t remote viewing, it just means you didn’t hit the target. Think of it as trying to hit a note while you’re singing. If you miss the note, you’re still singing but you may have to work harder to hit that specific note. This is especially true as it relates to my Upsight Vision, the images are extremely vivid but many times they’re not the ones I was anticipating. Said another way, I might see a perfect image of a house on Elm Street, but I was searching for a house on Maple Street.

Precognition: This is the most frustrating of all the psychic abilities connected with Upsight Vision. It may show me an image of a wobbly wheel on a grocery cart and the next day someone runs into me with a wobbly wheeled grocery cart. It may show me a bridge collapse and a few hours later I read about a bridge collapse online. On the other hand, I may see something as extraordinary as a tanker explosion and it never happens, or I may see an image of a long-lost friend coming to visit and it doesn’t happen. There’s no rhyme or reason to this ability for me. Maybe with practice I could get better at it, I just don’t know.

Telepathy: Engaging with these holographic images can be very similar to how humans have a conversation. Someone speaks and someone else responds. Changing these images with a thought is my response to whatever image is presented to me. Or sometimes I’ll see a holographic image of an NHI (non-human intelligent) being and we communicate using traditional telepathy. Maybe these NHIs are presenting an image of themselves to me so I’m aware of where this message is coming from. Whether that’s true or not, it certainly feels that way. I know this may be a bridge too far for many people to even consider, but I’m willing and eager to get in the lab again and reproduce events like these, they happen all the time. The challenge is creating the right lab test to gather evidence and proof. Not to mention, if we had the right technology, we could triangulate these holographic images and trace them back to their source.

That’s why I use the qualifier “for now,” it’s not to say that it shouldn’t be considered a psychic ability, it’s to say that in the next 5 years or so, we will learn the biology behind the Upsight Vision phenomenon and understand the specific parts of the brain/eye that are interacting with this hidden biosphere. Is it in the caudate putamen, is it in the eye itself, could it be the amygdala? Psychic abilities will not be inexplicable any longer, they’ll move from a psychic ability to a human ability and become standard science and carry less stigma. Until we get more data, we can only speculate. That’s my mission for 2024, connect with others with this ability, get back in the lab, and do more testing with the research team at IONS.
