At the Institute of Noetic Sciences we are committed to discovering how each of us can better access that place of our interconnection – accelerating the creation of a more just and sustainable human presence on this planet. Over 45 years of research tells us that when people recognize that we are one, they take better care of themselves, each other, and the planet.
Because of this, we are thrilled to announce that with your support, we have embarked on what will be the largest study ever conducted on how transformative practices and experiences influence well-being, creativity, intuition, and extraordinary human capacities, greatly accelerating humanity’s potential to apply noetics in their lives. This strategic alignment of our science team, our experiential programs department, and our EarthRise transformational learning campus is called the IONS Discovery Lab.
IONS Discovery Lab (IDL) turns our EarthRise campus into a living laboratory, inviting the 5,000 annual workshop participants to partner with us in training the lens of science on transformational practices across the ages to reveal clues to our extended capacities and unlock under-recognized aspects of our human potential.
The guiding hypothesis of the research program is that everything is interconnected, that embodying this awareness creates access to information and energy not limited by space and time, which can profoundly amplify innovation, transformation, and well-being.
Like the Framingham Heart Study that unlocked the mysteries of heart disease, or the Human Genome Project that illuminated the building blocks of being human, the discoveries of the IONS Discovery Lab will change how we understand human potential, how we understand the nature of reality, and who we are as humans in this interconnected reality. It is truly a game changer, and holds the potential for a new renaissance in understanding our ability to co-create the next phase of our own evolution – enabling humanity and our planet to thrive.
