I am thrilled to share the exciting news that the IONS Awaken the Noetic Now! fundraising campaign was an enormous success! While we continue to tally incoming gifts, we can report our preliminary results…drumroll please…$920,000! This remarkable total reflects the generous gift from our Board of Directors, who matched all donations dollar for dollar. The success of this campaign fills a critical gap in IONS’ finances created by the pandemic-related temporary closure of our EarthRise Retreat Center.
The entire IONS team is deeply inspired by the beneficence of each and every person who has chosen to financially support our work to reveal the interconnected nature of reality through scientific exploration and personal discovery. Never before in IONS history has our mission been more relevant than now — as the world awakens to our true interconnection through the enormous challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and the cries for racial justice across our communities.
The public response to our campaign and to three months of specially curated free online programs has been truly extraordinary. Over 11,000 individuals participated in our special webinar series, representing 25,000 registrations and 3,500 newcomers to the IONS community. Wow!
