Abstract
Trance channeling is a widely reported altered-state practice where individuals convey information perceived as originating from nonhuman intelligences, including purported extraterrestrial intelligences (ETIs). Prior work demonstrated semantic correspondence across channelers under structured conditions. The present study examines the qualitative content, structure, and meaning of trance-channeled ETI communications through reflexive thematic analysis of prospectively collected interviews. The analysis revealed coherent anthropological descriptions, cross-ETI thematic convergence, and shared narrative frames and conceptual metaphors. These findings indicate that trance-channeled ETI material exhibits structured qualitative coherence amenable to systematic analysis, supporting its study as organized meaning-making discourse without making ontological claims about external entities.
