Best-selling author Theresa Cheung has been researching and writing about spirituality, astrology, dreams, the afterlife, and the paranormal for the past twenty-five years. With a Master’s degree from King’s College Cambridge University in Theology and English, and several international best-selling books, including two Sunday Times “top 10 bestsellers,” Theresa has over 40 published books and cards on topics of the science of consciousness to intuition, including The Premonition Code co-authored with neuroscientist and IONS Fellow Dr. Julia Mossbridge. Her spiritual books have been translated into over 40 languages and she has written numerous features for national newspapers and magazines. Now, Theresa has her book The Truth About Angels releasing in the US in January. Additionally, coming up in January 2022 in the UK, Theresa has a brand-new book called How to Catch a Dream published by Harper Collins and an Angel Card pack published by Laurence King in May 2022.

Helané Wahbeh, ND, MCR, is the Director of Research at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Wahbeh is clinically trained as a naturopathic physician and research trained with a Master of Clinical Research and two post-doctoral research fellowships. She has published on and spoken internationally about her studies on complementary and alternative medicine, mind-body medicine, extended human capacities, stress, posttraumatic stress disorder and their relationships to physiology, health, and healing. Dr. Wahbeh is especially known for her research around — and noetic approach to — channeling.

Kerstin Sjoquist is the Director of Experience & Engagement at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. A long-time IONS member, a series of synchronous and magical events led Kerstin to a staff position at the Institute in 2014, where she now spends her days in support of the creation of IONS programmatic offerings to benefit those who seek a deeper engagement with potential and fulfillment. Prior to joining IONS, Kerstin was the founder and CEO of Consciousness Arts, Inc., specializing in psycho-spiritual products, classes, and services to assist people in expanding and enhancing their lives.
Nina Fry-Kizler, MA, is a Senior Designer of Experiential Programs at IONS. A former professor in the Holistic Health Education Masters Program at JFK University, she teaches classes on the psychology and physiology of stress, the challenges of change/transformation, energy models of healing, wellness coaching and mind-body approaches to self-care. Nina was trained in the Mind-Body Medicine Professional Training program from the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and as a Birth Doula through Doulas of North America. Nina’s teachings are centered around how to use revolutionary mind-body medicine and energy healing techniques to activate the relaxation response and the body’s innate healing capacity to improve emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
Claire Lachance serves as the CEO of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, leading a team of world-renowned scientists and experiential program professionals in Northern California. Prior to joining IONS in 2016, Claire was founder and president of Inspiration Quest, Inc. where she led the delivery of comprehensive management consulting services to hundreds of nonprofit organizations, foundations, public agencies, and social entrepreneurs. Earlier in her career, Claire held executive positions at Pacific Bell and MetLife. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA magna cum laude in Economics from Tufts University.

Dean Radin, MS, PhD, is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Associated Distinguished Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Before joining the research staff at IONS in 2001, he held appointments at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International. Dr. Radin is author or coauthor of hundreds of technical articles, some 125 peer-reviewed journal articles, four dozen book chapters, and four best-selling, popular books. He has given over 600 invited presentations and interviews for government, military, business, scientific, and other groups around the world.
Garret Yount, PhD, is a Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. Dr. Yount’s primary interest is bridging molecular neurobiology with aspects of consciousness and the nonmaterial mind. He began his formal studies in consciousness research with a small grant from the Institute of Noetic Sciences in 1995, which allowed him to work with biofield practitioners and spiritual healers in the laboratory. Dr. Yount was among the first scientists to be awarded a Research Project Grant (R01) from the National Institutes of Health to study energy healing. He has spoken nationally and co-authored peer-reviewed papers on the topic of establishing rigorous guidelines for research into biofields and micro-psychokinesis.
Loren Carpenter revolutionized the entire film industry through inventing rendering and modeling algorithms for image synthesis and visual effects. In 2001, he and two colleagues were awarded the only Oscar statuettes ever given for computer science. In 2014, he transitioned from his position as Senior Research Scientist in Disney/Pixar’s research division to that of a Scientist at IONS. At IONS, he is involved primarily with experiment design and construction, using his extensive fabrication, computer and electronics skills. His contributions include new instruments for recording and analyzing quantum background noise and instruments for sensing and amplifying mind-photon interaction.
Arnaud Delorme, PhD, is a CNRS principal investigator in Toulouse, France, a faculty member at the University of California, San Diego, and a Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. He is a long-time Zen meditator, and has taught in India on the neural correlates of conscious experience in a Master’s degree program for the Birla Institute of Technology. He is the author of some 160+ peer-reviewed publications, and is best known for developing the EEG software that is now the most-used in EEG research worldwide.
Chris Laszlo, PhD, is a Professor of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University (USA) where he works to promote flourishing enterprise. He is the author of six books including Quantum Leadership, Flourishing Enterprise, Embedded Sustainability, and Sustainable Value, all from Stanford University Press. He currently serves as Chair of the Management, Spirituality, and Religion (MSR) Interest Group at the Academy of Management. Laszlo spent 10 years as an executive at Lafarge, a world leader in building materials, where he held positions as head of strategy, general manager, and vice president of business development. Growing up in the Swiss Alps, he became a life-long nature enthusiast.
Julia Storberg-Walker, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human and Organizational Learning, Graduate School of Education and Human Development, at the George Washington University. After serving in various leadership capacities at Deloitte & Touche and Deloitte Consulting (1985-1999), she shifted to the non-profit sector and received her PhD in Work, Community, and Family Education from the University of Minnesota in 2004. She has been recognized for her critically-informed teaching, research, and activism/service as the recipient of multiple awards including the R. Wayne Pace Book of the Year Award by the Academy of Human Resource Development (2019) and the Outstanding Research Award from the International Leadership Association (2015). She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Management, Spirituality and Religion Interest Group of the Academy of Management. Her activist/scholar work is generative and aims to develop equitable and compassionate frameworks, models, and processes for the purpose of catalyzing whole planet interdependence and flourishing.
Alan Briskin, PhD, is a pioneer in the field of organizational learning and leadership development. He has been working with executives, managers, and teams for over 35 years as a coach and consultant, specializing in systems change and collective wisdom. Alan’s work is distinguished by his attention to the conditions that allow for change and innovation. He estimates spending over 10,000 hours in conversations, 1-1 and in small teams, with managers and executives addressing change processes and their role in it. He has held retainer relationships with multiple organizations for consecutive periods of 10 years or longer, including Lucasfilm, Goi Peace Foundation, Sutter Health, and Kaiser Permanente. Co-founder of the Collective Wisdom Initiative, he has written or co-authored five books, including the award winning The Power of Collective Wisdom, Daily Miracles, and The Stirring of Soul in the Workplace.
Dr. Iain McGilchrist is a psychiatrist, philosopher and literary scholar. He is a Quondam Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and of the Royal Society of Arts, as well as a former Clinical Director of the Bethlem Royal & Maudsley Hospital, London. His previous book, The Master and His Emissary: The Divided Brain and the Making of the Western World reached international recognition and acclaim and has marked him out as one of the greatest thinkers and philosophers of our time.
David Lorimer is a writer, lecturer, poet, and editor who is a Founder of Character Education Scotland, Programme Director of the Scientific and Medical Network, and former President of Wrekin Trust and the Swedenborg Society. Dana Lynne Andersen is a multimedia artist, writer, playwright and teacher who has taught and exhibited on three continents. With a Masters Degree in Consciousness Studies from John F. Kennedy University she uses art as a catalyst for seeding evolutionary ideas, showing in venues such as the California Institute of Integral Studies and the IONS (where she was artist in residence). Her artwork has been featured on the covers of books and journals internationally, and her visionary thinking has been explored in newspapers, radio and television.
Working in photography and mixed media, Aranka Israni describes her practice as “grounded in alchemical and imaginal processes that explore energy in transition from one expression to another.” Aranka received her Masters from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and is currently working on her PhD in Depth Psychology with an emphasis in Jungian and Archetypal Studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute. Aranka was the host of the “Art, Consciousness & the Muse” panel at the 2019 IONS Conference.
Lisa M. French is the Executive Director of Development at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. She is also a long-time intuitive painter and most recently studied at the Academy of Art, Creativity and Consciousness, located in Assisi, Italy where she earned a certificate in Transformative Arts. Lisa believes we are all born to live as creative beings however, many of us have been disconnected from this awareness. It is one of her greatest passions to help people reconnect to their innate gifts of creative expression.
