Can people who feel deeply connected truly share information mind to mind, and could technology help strengthen those connections? The Mind2Mind Paired Talent Search project set out to explore these questions using a rigorous, multi-stage research design developed at the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
In this webinar, we’ll share results from a large international study of emotionally bonded pairs, including romantic partners, family members, close friends, and twins. Participants completed a newly developed task designed to reflect real-world telepathic and telesomatic experiences while meeting the standards of controlled experimental research. We’ll discuss how the task was created and what we observed when pairs were tested under blinded conditions. In addition, Dean Radin will present findings from the HALO project, which investigates whether subtle technologies can support those connections.
Together, these projects raise important questions about the nature of human connection and whether certain conditions or technologies might amplify it. We’ll conclude by discussing what these findings mean for future research, including next steps involving brain and physiological measurements, and how this work may inform the development of new experimental approaches to studying connection and consciousness. This webinar is intended for a general audience interested in science, consciousness, and the frontiers of human potential.

PRESENTERS
Helané Wahbeh, ND, MCR, is the Director of Research at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Wahbeh is clinically trained as a naturopathic physician and research trained with a Master of Clinical Research and two post-doctoral research fellowships. She has published on and spoken internationally about her studies on complementary and alternative medicine, mind-body medicine, extended human capacities, stress, posttraumatic stress disorder and their relationships to physiology, health, and healing. Dr. Wahbeh is especially known for her research around — and noetic approach to — channeling.
Dean Radin, MS, PhD, is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Associated Distinguished Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies. He was awarded an Honorary DSc in yoga research from S-VYASA. Before joining the research staff at IONS in 2001, he held appointments at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International. Dr. Radin is author or coauthor of hundreds of technical articles, some 145 peer-reviewed journal articles, four dozen book chapters, and four best-selling, popular books. He has given over 750 invited presentations and interviews for government, military, business, scientific, and other groups around the world.
Sitara Taddeo is a research assistant at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), where she supports projects exploring consciousness, human potential, and transformative experiences. She is a co-author of 8 publications and is the coordinator of the IONS Discovery Lab, overseeing its mission to investigate how such transformative practices and experiences influence well-being and interconnectedness. Her work focuses on integrating rigorous scientific methods with subjective experience to better understand the interplay between mind, body, and consciousness, with a particular interest in these applications for physical and mental health. She holds an honors Master’s Degree in biology with a concentration in ethics, policy, and law as well as two honors Bachelor’s degrees in neuroscience, and political science.
