Ervin Laszlo is perhaps best known as the father of systems philosophy and more recently as the voice of science in service of human attunement with the deeper dynamics of evolutionary emergence of life on Earth and throughout the cosmos. Now at ninety-three, he has an urgent message for humanity: we need an upshift in consciousness that will take us from attempts at coexistence to a decidedly cooperative engagement with all life.
In this session, he will share how he sees such an upshift taking place, indicating how and where it is already happening. He will show the trailer to his forthcoming documentary film, A Life Beyond the Box: The Ervin Laszlo Story (https://thelaszloinstitute.com/2025/04/22/a-life-beyond-the-box-the-ervin-laszlo-story), and lead an interactive discussion with friends of Fielding on his perspective of how to change the world, starting with ourselves.
The companion book, to be published by Waterside Productions along with the film at the end of this year, is evocatively titled The Sacred Quest: Becoming One on Planet Earth.
