Convergences of Science with Faith

We are delighted to share a special invitation to Convergences of Science with Faith, a hybrid, in-person and webinar, conference taking place 11–12 December 2026 at the Palazzo Cardinal Cesi in Rome — one block from St. Peter’s Square — and live online worldwide.

Co-hosted by the interfaith Contemplative Network and the Scientific and Medical Network, the conference brings together sixteen distinguished scientists, physicians, and contemplative clergy of the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions to trace one remarkable arc: from the Big Bang to mystical union — physics to creation, chemistry to life, biology to consciousness, and psychology to mysticism.

Learn from voices including His Eminence Peter Cardinal Turkson (Pontifical Academy of Sciences); Dr. Bernard Carr (former student of Stephen Hawking); Dr. Jennifer Wiseman (NASA Hubble Space Telescope), Dr. Federico Faggin (inventor of the microprocessor); Dr. Simon Conway Morris (Cambridge winner of prestigious Templeton grant); Dr. Harold Koenig (primary editor of Handbook of Religion and Health, author of 65 books;); Dr. James Finley (Trappist novice master was Thomas Merton); and Fr.
