More Ways to Expand Your Perspective on Aging – Once A Week For Six Weeks Starting April 7
Aging is a continuum from birth to death. It is life. If birth and death are two sides of the same coin, it is the coin. Ignoring, denying, and fearing what is inevitable is the hard way out.
It takes courage to age consciously.
Courage from the heart—honesty, self-compassion, empathy
Courage with intention—commitment to act and to keep growing consciously
Courage together—from individual growth to collective responsibility, and back again
The Courageus Online Conscious Aging Workshop (COCAW) is a program of six weekly 90-minute sessions designed to explore and reframe commonly perceived views of aging. Each session is co-created within an interactive community of people seeking connection and meaning.
The workshops highlight both the challenges and opportunities inherent in our older age, and offer tools to move towards more balance, compassion and trust.
The COCAW program offers meaning-making through conversations and activities on topics such as life review, practicing forgiveness and self-compassion, releasing what’s no longer needed, and shaping one’s legacy to the world.
Weekly topics include:
- Introduction to Conscious Aging
- Self-compassion
- Forgiveness
- Life review & transformative practices
- Letting go & appreciating impermanence
- A new vision of aging
