Chris Roe, PhD, is a distinguished researcher at the University of Northampton, specializing in the field of parapsychology. He holds a PhD in psychology and has extensively studied the nature of consciousness, particularly focusing on non-local consciousness and paranormal phenomena. Roe is renowned for his empirical approach to exploring these areas, integrating rigorous scientific methods with an open-minded investigation of extraordinary human experiences. Michael Daw, PhD, is a member of Chris Roe’s laboratory at the University of Northampton. The current focus of his research is on the relationship between vegetarianism, fasting, spiritual experiences, and psi phenomena. Additionally, Michael is dedicated to addressing the environmental crises with a particular interest in rewilding, plant-based diets, and carbon removal.

Michael Nahm, PhD, is a pioneering researcher dedicated to exploring the frontiers of biology. With a PhD in biology, Nahm focuses on unconventional and groundbreaking areas within the biological sciences, including the study of anomalous phenomena and their implications for our understanding of life and consciousness. Dr. Cameron Alldredge, PhD, is a psychologist currently studying at Baylor University, with a keen focus on consciousness studies. His research delves into the intricacies of human consciousness, exploring the nature of awareness, perception, and the cognitive processes underlying conscious experience. Dr. Alldredge is particularly interested in the intersections between consciousness and mental health, investigating how states of consciousness can influence psychological well-being. His work in this field is distinguished by numerous publications and presentations at professional conferences, contributing significantly to our understanding of the mind and its complexities.
IONS Team
Dean Radin, MS, PhD, is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Associated Distinguished Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Before joining the research staff at IONS in 2001, he held appointments at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International. Dr. Radin is author or coauthor of hundreds of technical articles, some 125 peer-reviewed journal articles, four dozen book chapters, and four best-selling, popular books. He has given over 600 invited presentations and interviews for government, military, business, scientific, and other groups around the world.
Helané Wahbeh, ND, MCR, is the Director of Research at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Wahbeh is clinically trained as a naturopathic physician and research trained with a Master of Clinical Research and two post-doctoral research fellowships. She has published on and spoken internationally about her studies on complementary and alternative medicine, mind-body medicine, extended human capacities, stress, posttraumatic stress disorder and their relationships to physiology, health, and healing. Dr. Wahbeh is especially known for her research around — and noetic approach to — channeling.
Thomas G. Brophy, PhD, is President of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). He previously served as president of California Institute for Human Science (CIHS). His tenure as president of CIHS oversaw a many-year effort to achieve regional accreditation in 2021, for CIHS as a unique mind, body, spirit centered university. Earning a BA in physics from Colorado College, and MS and PhD degrees in physics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Thomas’ academic and scientific backgrounds include work on NASA’s Voyager and Cassini spacecraft projects, the CU Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, and an appointment as a National Science Foundation Exchange Scientist at the University of Tokyo Department of Earth and Planetary Physics and ISAS robotic space program. Thomas explored the consciousness related aspects of UAP phenomena in his 1998 book The Mechanism Demands a Mysticism: An Exploration of Spirit, Matter, and Physics. His study of the archaeoastronomy of prehistoric Egypt, published in his books The Origin Map, and Black Genesis co-authored with Robert Bauval, has been cited as relevant to the study of extraterrestrial, or transhuman, intelligence.
Arnaud Delorme, PhD, is a CNRS principal investigator in Toulouse, France, a faculty member at the University of California, San Diego, and a Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. He is a long-time Zen meditator, and has taught in India on the neural correlates of conscious experience in a Master’s degree program for the Birla Institute of Technology. He is the author of some 160+ peer-reviewed publications, and is best known for developing the EEG software that is now the most-used in EEG research worldwide.
