Edgewalkers are those who are always at the forefront of change, who walk “between worlds,” and have the ability to build bridges between different realms. They are described as having a strong inner life and yet are grounded and effective in the everyday external world. They look to the future and are focused on the possibilities.
Join Claire and Judi to learn more about the five leadership archetypes of change, with a specific exploration of how leaders of all types can cultivate the skills and qualities associated with the “Edgewalker.”
SPEAKER
Dr. Judi Neal is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Edgewalkers International. She was the founding director of the Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas. Judi is recognized as an expert on spirituality in the workplace and speaks and consults internationally. She received her Ph.D. from Yale in Organizational Behavior. Judi focused her research on business leaders who have a strong commitment to their faith and spirituality, and began studying how they bridged the spiritual world and the material world of business. That led to her research on people she calls “Edgewalkers.” Judi was a co-founder of the Management, Spirituality and Religion Interest Group at the Academy of Management, as well as co-founder of the Journal of Management, Spirituality and Religion. She has consulted with major organizations such as Pfizer and General Electric as well as with small entrepreneurial companies and with non-profits.

Claire Lachance serves as the CEO of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, leading a team of world-renowned scientists and experiential program professionals.
Prior to joining IONS in 2016, Claire was founder and president of Inspiration Quest, Inc. where she led the delivery of comprehensive management consulting services to hundreds of nonprofit organizations, foundations, public agencies, and social entrepreneurs. Earlier in her career, Claire held executive positions at Pacific Bell and MetLife. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA magna cum laude in Economics from Tufts University.
With a deep passion for values-driven strategy, organizational sustainability, and servant leadership, Claire is a self-proclaimed spiritual explorer fascinated by how the mystical manifests in cultures and organizations around the world. Claire is leading the development of the Noetic Leadership Model for Professional and Organizational Success combining leading-edge business practices with valuable learnings from science and ancient wisdom traditions.
