Biography

Claudia Welss is a board member of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution, focusing on social synergy and co-creating a “synergy engine,” and is on the Steering Committee of the Global Coherence Initiative (Institute of Heartmath) as director of Strategic Partnerships. She is also founder/executive director of NextNow Collaboratory, a lab for "cultivating connective intelligence for collective action." Her main focus is using information-visualization technologies to raise awareness about the relationship between human activity, states of being, and Earth changes, and using collaboration tools to mobilize effective collective action in response. She works with Four Years. Go! on visioning and transformative action initiatives; advises the Plastic Pollution Coalition; supports numerous paradigm-shifting efforts including World Resources Simulation Center, Ecological Creditors and Debtors Initiative (ECDI)/Global Footprint Network; and is a co-producer of three consciousness-raising films. For six years Claudia was director of the Center for Executive Development at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley, developing and delivering programs on strategy for client corporations in over 30 countries with an emphasis on institutionalizing the curriculum, policies, and practices of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Claudia joined the Institute of Noetic Sciences’ extended research faculty in 2004.
