The goals of this invitational workshop were to bring together a distinguished set of researchers to consider the state of the evidence for anomalous cognition defined as apparent spatial, temporal, and active extensions of cognition; to discuss the methodological and theoretical challenges presented by such phenomena; to address the sociological barriers that have constrained academic discussion of this topic; and to examine the process outcomes and potential impact of the meeting.
