"A Research-Based Model of Consciousness Transformation" (To download this pdf, right-click and select "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As...")
This article, published in Shift Magazine, Issue 23, Summer 2009, describes the Consciousness Change Model that IONS Researchers developed from more than a decade of investigation into transformations in consciousness.
Our Living Deeply project consists of a book, DVD, and workshops. They are based on over ten years of scientific research exploring the phenomenon by which people make significant shifts in the way they view the world and themselves.
The book moves spirituality off the mountain top and into your daily life... one step at a time. It reveals the perennial wisdom across religions, cultures, and traditions that can help you to live more fully and deeply.
The DVD contains nine experiential practices guided by master teachers of transformative traditions including: Catholicism, Religious Science, Buddhism, Himalayan Yoga, Cross-Cultural Shamanism, Sufism, Expressive Arts, Kabbalism, and African Yoruban Spirituality. This unique and compelling video, appropriate for both individual and group use, offers a glimpse into spiritual practices that you might not otherwise encounter. The workshops blend the rigors of science with the deep wisdom of the world’s spiritual traditions offering key insights from the decade-long qualitative and quantitative research study of how people transform their lives.
