Conscious Living Workshop
Friday, Sep 6, 2013, 4:00 PM
Sunday, Sep 8, 2013, 1:30 PM (All times are local to the event.)
Liberate your voice, your heart, and your mind in an uplifting exploration of breathing, chanting, mantra and sonic meditations, and sacred chants. Discover and understand the power your voice has to free you from the fetters of negative thought patterns and anxieties. Develop breath and sound in ways that set parts of the body and mind into resonance while discovering the healing capacity of sonic massage.
Working with ancient vocal purification practices, learn to cleanse and tune the chakras and experience the nature of the radiant body. Enter subtle dimensions of reality through magical voice techniques, Mongolian and Tibetan overtone chanting. Work with the voice as one of the most effective ways to empower your life, balance the mind and body, and ultimately achieve enlightenment. Free the voice to find physical health, emotional joy, and spiritual ecstasy.
Appropriate for all levels, including clinicians, wellness practitioners, and those wanting to teach or to bring music into their soul. No vocal ability necessary. For musicians and non-musicians alike, for sound healers who want to train with the international pioneer of sound healing, and individuals longing to share their voice and soul in sonorous spiritual community.
JILL PURCE is internationally recognized as the pioneer of the sound healing movement and has been teaching all over the world for the last 40 years. She discovered ancient vocal techniques, the power of group chant, and the spiritual potential of the voice as an instrument for healing and meditation. Author of The Mystic Spiral and Overtone Chanting Meditations, she guides non-singers as well as international opera performers in their pursuit of the lost voice. She lives in London with her husband Rupert Sheldrake and their two sons. www.healingvoice.com
