The question you may want to seek truth to is: What is 'here'?

I am 'here' now, but I am always 'here' regardless of where I am located in any moment. My truth is 'the universe' has made it impossible for me not to be 'here'; otherwise my 'here' would be elsewhere. We are always meant to be as 'here' as we can be whereever 'here' is.

Now that I am 'here' I am compelled to be present 'here' to the best of my ability and to know what 'here' is and that I am 'here'.

There is a big difference between "I was meant to come here" and "I *feel like* I was meant to come here."

The human mind is exceptionally good at rationalising its decisions after the fact and pretending to itself that it actually has something like 'free will' associated with some sort of larger 'purpose'.

Was I mean to come here? I am here so that would seem I was mean tot be here. You could look at this in a different way, did I feel I was meant to be here? This to me still isn't the right question to ask.

I've come back twice now so there is an attraction of some kind even though I was determined I wasn't coming back!!

I'm into science, spirituality, philosophy, psychology and history, is this why I was attracted to such a diverse site?

Let's ask the initial question differently as the answer is always determined by the question asked, was IONS meant to be for us, did the creator feel a need that needed to be met? It would seem so because we felt a need that needed to be met, that is why I feel we are here. I feel because of our initial feelings, the creator of this organisation felt a need for such an organisation.

So does anyone feel they were meant to come here? Yes in away, we inadvertently created this site through the creator of the organisation through a need, we were meant to come here through our own feelings. You could say we all manifested such an organisation through our feelings thus creating this manifestation into physical form through the creator of this organisation.

Please don't take this a gospel, I tend to like to ask different questions to formulate a complete answer.

I feel like I was meant to come here. Why? Because I like like the idea that life is meaningful and that it's sensible to embue life with as much meaning as possible. I listened to Kevin Ryerson and Gary Zukav today on youtube. , these guys talk pure sense beyond the prison of sense perception. I decide to have a dream diary with a lamp next to my bed. I want to see if my dreamworld and waking world will start to talk with each other. My feeling is they already are in some way. There is so much to know and learn. A poem I wrote this morning.

    pin headed prisons
    of sense perception
as if they were the only doors
    locked gates
    between you and me
    but you are my master
    not only of flowing robes
    but also vertical bars
    gripped in tides
    that water-mark the mind
    and debris the soul
    expand me and contract me
in ways to fly and fall

I did not finish the sentence below fully. I kept getting "an urge to just go outside" is what I intended to say.

I know this is an old thread but it calls to me.

My spiritual teacher teaches us to use our emotional guidance (for science behind emotions as a sensory feedback system see emotionalsentience.com). When one begins doing that we do what we call "line up" or "get in alignment with" our desires.

Having been doing that for quite a while now I have learned to sense the subtle energies of thoughts in alignment and thoughts not totally in alignment. When I get my mind in alignment with my desire on a topic I can flow through the following days and see how the shifts in my thought brought about synchronicities--both in physical events--such as meeting someone specific that has something that is just what I need in that moment--whether it is to expand my thoughts on the topic, to suggest a book that will do that, to suggest an organization, place or even employment offers.

After learning this--which is really an experiential thing--just intellectual knowing does not get you there--I was able to look back at major events in my past--both positive and negative and see the correlation between where my thoughts were and what happened in my life. I have been using my emotional guidance for years now and the quality of the life I am living--on every level--has increased beyond my wildest expectations.

Personally, it is my belief that we live in a beneficent universe, an intelligent and loving universe, and that consciousness (by whatever name you wish to give it) is always trying to give us our desires but we have to be in alignment with those desires. Neediness is far from alignment. Trust, faith and confidence that you will be taken care of--that you will get not just what you need but also what you desire and that you are worthy of it (deserve it) and then::::::::::whoosh:::::::::::::::::: here it comes; often in forms better than you could have imagined.

Someone mentioned Soul mate. That Infinite Intelligence knows everyone in the world and when you trust it to bring you the person of your hearts desire it is amazing. I won't go into long history but it is very unusual for someone who has had two abusive husbands to end up with someone not only she but everyone calls Mr. Wonderful. I did that and I could see how the men showing up in my life shifted as I shifted thoughts. Then, about a year before Mr. W. showed up I kept getting this urge whenever I thought about meeting the man I dreamed of. Now I understand why--I met him in my backyard--he was golfing with a friends husband and had been doing so weekly for several years. He still does but now he is golfing behind his home when he golfs behind mine. :o)

I came here knowing that I would be among like-minded souls. The larger the group is of lovely, compassionate and knowledgeable human beings, the more effective it will be in assisting to inaugurate a new scientific paradigm on Earth – the sooner, the better.

My life is like a constant state of sureality, and I personally have been drawn to this site several times. The first time my girl had been telling me about it and I was meaning to look into it. I felt like I was oddly drawn to look into this info so I just told her "im sending out mental messages for my from friend Lamar to contact me" he rarely contacted me at all during that period of my life so I said "if he contacts me Im looking into that site". When I got home at the end of work I had an email from him.

I agree with all of the above. How do you think this relates to our encounters with other people? I understand it is open to interpretation, but I'm trying to figure out what I think. For example, synchronicity in a situation with another person - how do you figure out what the purpose/reason is? Too many similarities to be coincidence, and too many coincidences to be random. So obviously I am meant to interact with this person now. Is it a "soul mate" situation? I have been wanting a mate. (would make me happy) Or is this supposed to teach me some lesson about how life always changes and to let go and be detached... (would make me sad). Do I have to wait until I have more mental clarity? I would still like to hear your thoughts.
Also, how can I tell the difference between what I think are telepathic communication and just experiencing the hormones of love, making me feel crazy?

  • steppinout Nov 16, 2010

A very simple answer...synchronicity. Life does tend to roll out the "red carpet", and once one becomes accustomed to follow it....well it really does flow. It really is amazing when you let go and "just go".

I'd like to broaden that question to define "here" as
this physical plane, this body, this timeline.

I have asked myself this question in a dozen different ways
and have received a dozen different answers that were all the same.

Not until recently, did I have the right receptors in place to decode
the answer to my question, which allowed me to see that the previous
answers, though all different, were saying the same thing, but my
ability to decode the response was missing. It made no sense.
Like white noise. Or HEX code.

Comprehension brought with it new meaning to the Biblical phrase:
"you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see, and ears to hear but does not hear"

Once the rebellion of my physical mind gave way to the peace of my spiritual consciousness,
such things suddenly became clear to see and hear.

I now understand that I'm here to mold my energy receptors to allow the conscious self,
which resides in a greater reality to exchange energy with another, allowing "I" the ability
to see and hear that which I seek.

Did you make this place? Are you creating these words right now? Am i me to you or am i my words to you? The only constant in our universe is flux (change). The purple people from pluto have no idea what time, mathematics, language, or mcdonald's are. The only common denominator in the universe is change. That being true, your perception of where you need and/or want to be will alter based on the change you yourself are experiencing. In short. YES! congratulations for finding this place but always be concious that your perception of a person, place or thing is rooted deeply in your pscyhe and you have the ability to alter it whenever and however you want. Good luck on your journey.

I would simply like to make comment on the "All roads lead to Rome" comment. It could also be said that if all roads lead to one point, that from that one point it is possible to reach any destination. So really your arrival here much like my own is just a way to open opportunities and find your own way to your destination.

  • cameronjcw Oct 09, 2010

lol so true! All roads lead to Rome!

  • frequencytuner Oct 08, 2010

You will inevitably always end up right here, right now. How you decide to interpret that is up to you, but it is the truth.

  • cameronjcw Oct 02, 2010

OK today I'm going to listen to my intuition and do what it says, switching off the television and just go with where my mind leads me.

Guess I will see what happens!?
