Biography

Rose Welch has been with IONS since 1989. She has had the honor of working with all of the IONS Elders and Leaders. She is currently Board, Donor and Global Community Liaison, and she manages the Temple Awards for Creative Altruism and serves as International Conference Senior Advisor. Her passions are her granddaughter, traveling the world, community, and the human spirit. Her educational accomplishments are a BA in Cultural Anthropology and a Masters in Gerontology. She lives in Big Sur, CA, experiencing life to the fullest with much humor, laughter, and compassion for all, with a sprinkle of irreverence thrown in for the spice!
