Virtual-Reality Assisted Consciousness and Healing, Awe, Extended Human Capacities

Research Focus:
2. Can we access information not limited by space and time?

Research Question

Can virtual reality environments stimulate worldview shifts, assist in mind-body healing, augment extended human capacities (improve performance on psi tasks)? Can virtual reality environments provide "training wheels" for mind-body, mind-matter interactions? Can we mimic transformative conditions to shift perspective in positive ways?

Project Summary

As a first project, a virtual reality program of Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell's moonwalk and return home is being created with the intention of generating an awe experience for the user. Other projects in development include VR for healing (mind-body medicine), out-of-body experience simulation, and as a trainint for extended human capacities.
