About StanEllis_Author
Stan Ellis highlights his life as a “miraculous adventure.” Growing up in a military family, their travels served as highly imaginary boyhood expeditions. Immediately after finishing college in 1967, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged two years later. He now resides near the Central Florida gulf coast where he practices spiritual meditation and writes. Canoeing and hiking are his connection to a lifelong relationship with Mother Nature.
Stan married his soul mate Renee Gorman, R.N. in 1981.Renee’s passing in 2006 initiated Stan’s quest for and realization of his “true being.”
Stan is now retired from a unique career involving his professional skills in behavioral analysis and counseling. In the thirty-year span of his career in human services, he has served as a behavior therapist, certified rehabilitation counselor, children’s protective services investigator, foster care counselor, adoptions counselor, and residential training center’s facility administrator. He characterizes his professional experience as an interaction in triumphs of the human spirit. Stan concludes, “I’ve come to realize that I’ve always lived in a state of grace, not for what I believe, but for experiencing what I believe. My devotion to making a difference in life has led to the realization that I was blessed to be the difference in the lives I served.” Stan is the author of a soon to be published action/adventure allegory titled "The Chrysopoeia Revelation." It is a novel about awakening to one's true being.
