This extraordinary event actively explores the role of sound and image as powerful tools for the expression and evolution of Science and Spirituality, and Culture and Consciousness. A total immersion into film and music, the weekend showcases international documentaries, cutting edge films and film clips on music, performances and devotional chanting, and features panel discussions facilitated by special guests. It is a completely magical exploration with film viewing, improvisational music making, walks in nature, and gathering in community over delicious and nourishing meals.

Throughout the weekend there will be impromptu performances and sound healing demonstrations. Saturday evening there will be a special performance: Music in the Body, Voice, and Mind. Sunday afternoon there will be a closing reception and chanting. The films and film clips that will be presented include the following international films:

Silvia Nakkach, MA, MMT: An internationally known pioneer in the field of sound and transformation of consciousness, Silvia has cultivated a voice that transports listeners into the heart of devotion. An award-winning composer, former music psychotherapist, author, and recording artist, she is on the faculty of the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where she created the Sound, Voice, and Music Healing certificate. She is founding director of Vox Mundi School of the Voice, an international project devoted to teaching and preserving sacred-music traditions; has released nine CD-albums; and is author of Free Your Voice, Awakening to Life through Singing, published by Sounds True. In curating Music on the Edge of Change, Silvia combines her love of music and film.

Registration fees include program and freshly prepared meals.

Onsite lodging is $75 per person per night for a Shared Room or $99 per night for a Single Room. Sign-ups within 72 hours of the workshop will be on a space-available basis and will incur a $30 Administration Fee, so please register early. Arrival and Departure
Check-in and access to accommodations is Friday from 2:30-5:30 PM. The first film showing will be at 3:00 PM Friday, with a welcome and orientation to the weekend at 5:30 PM, prior to dinner at 6:00 PM. The last film session will be Sunday afternoon after lunch, followed by a closing reception and chanting. Guests may need to vacate their rooms by 9:00 AM Sunday.
