Dutchman Wim Hof first came to the awareess of the public through his remarkable feats in the extremes of nature, such as swimming / running in shorts only, in the Arctic in mid-winter; a marathon in the Namibian desert in mid-summer; and climbing some of the world's highest mountains without the need for oxygen. He has 20 world records, has been the subject of numerous documentaries and scientific studies, demonstrating control over his 'autonomic' nervous system and immune system.

Over the past few years Wim has been travelling the world, teaching the method that allows him to tap deeper into his resources for vitality, well-being, adaptatability, and 'extraordinary' performance. He will be visiting the San Francisco Bay Area in April 2013 and teaching his Wim Hof Method Basic Course on April 27-28. This is a unique opportunity to meet a truly inpiring human being, as well as a yogic master, and learn his simple yet profound methods.

The course will include physical and breathing exercises, mindset-empowering exercises, and non-forced cold exposure (optional) to improve mind-body control, performance, health, and harmony with Nature. There will also be discussion of current scientific research of the method and, depending on interest, deeper exploration of its philosophical and spiritual aspects.
