Dr. Holden specializes in a transpersonal perspective, or examining the implications of experiences transcending the usual time and/or space limits, in particular, NDEs. She was president of the International Association for Near Death Studies (IANDS) for three years, and currently edits its Journal of Near-Death Studies. She has numerous publications on the topic.
