Let’s say your sex life, as well as the comfortable and really interesting friendship you have had with your spouse, is not as good as it could be.

• Maybe kids, work, and other life pressures have kept you from devoting the time you need for your physical and emotional connection.
• Maybe disappointments have calcified in your heart making it difficult for the blood of passion to flow freely.
• Maybe, like so many others, you have a great partnership but just can’t seem to keep the sexual passion alive and have come to believe that there is nothing that you can do about it.

We begin slowly, and work carefully to create the necessary conditions for love.

Building on the traditional symbols of Valentine’s Day (such as chocolate and flowers), we create an environment to honor your relationship, express your desire, and open your heart.

We create a safe and playful place for exploration with no nudity and minimal emotional exposure in the group.

We teach the essential ingredients for creating and maintaining a sex life that is satisfying to both you and your partner.

The structured Saturday night date between you and your partner is an opportunity to connect emotionally and sexually in a celebration that honors all that you are as a couple. Designed to be easy, sweet, healing, transformative.

We incorporate scientific principles from attachment theory, and social relationships, as well as from the field of sexuality and psycho-spiritual transformation within a romantic, playful, and artful structure.

This retreat is designed to be a private exploration between you and your partner. Felicia and Jim will teach classes and provide a structure to support your deepening intimacy. The group is small compared to many other similarly priced retreats. Couples breakout of group discussions for private conversations, then go to their rooms for “homework” assignments (including the love ceremony) during the evenings.

You will leave the retreat with a concrete and unique plan for deepening your emotional and erotic connection.

For many, this retreat has been healing; for most, it is deeply connecting; and for some, it is life changing.

This retreat is appropriate for same gender as well as mixed gender couples.

We will be holding this retreat at EarthRise at IONS located in a beautiful old-growth oak forest on the Marin/ Sonoma county line. This newly remodeled facility is conveniently located near highway 101 about 30 miles north of San francisco.

Cost is $750 per couple for the workshop. Early registration before January 15, 2012 is $675.

The cost for food and lodging is separate from the retreat. Lodging plus all meals from dinner Friday through breakfast on Sunday is $450 per couple. All costs are included. No tax, etc. Details about accommodations here. Information about the food here.

(Participants can commute from nearby Petaluma or Novato and pay for food only $225 instead of $450. However, we encourage couples to stay at the center in order to preserve the sense of peaceful retreat.)
