Volunteer Opportunities

As we give selflessly the gifts that have been

to the process of change, but we — ourselves
— are transformed in the process.

Whether you live nearby or far away, you can volunteer your time and energy to help EarthRise at IONS in a way that works for you.

If you live close enough to visit our campus in Petaluma, CA, you can come here and work directly with us, or take home a project to work on.
If you live far away, we have projects that can be done virtually.
Areas where you might be able help include gardening, trail maintenance, construction, data entry, event assistance and gift shop sales.

If you want to learn more or apply, here's how you do it:

1. Review the Opportunity Directory to see our current volunteer needs.

2. Fill out and submit the online Volunteer Application.

3. We will review your application and if we feel that your skills, interests, and availablity make you a good match with our current volunteer needs, someone will contact you to set up an interview. (Given the large number of applications we receive, not all applications can be accepted.)
