Retreat is a time to dive into what you are truly most interested in. It is a time to ask what is your deepest, most heartfelt desire that is in alignment with what life wants. What is it that you truly want above everything else? This is the longing that is calling you above all other tendencies in your life and mind. Retreat is your time to uncompromisingly be with this deep desire, nourishing and opening to its solicitation.
Your heart’s desire is an invitation from beyond that is welcoming you into your deepest essence of well-being and authentic aliveness. It is the door that opens you into the unexpected, into astonishment, wonder, joy, and deep peace.
During our time together, we will engage in sitting and moving meditation, bodysensing, breathsensing, silence, and intimate and spirited dialogue, all of which support your awakening into your innate nonseparateness with all of life. The practices that we engage evoke and support psychological integration as well as spiritual awakening to your true nature.
It’s rare during our daily life that we put aside time like this that supports our awakening into our fullest potential as human beings, which is to walk this earth both as a psychological and a spiritual being. We view retreat as satsang, the engagement of living truth moment-to-moment. With this in mind, we will be offering periods of engaged dialogue as well as extended periods of meditation to support your inner self inquiry and realization. While awakening lies outside any technique or approach, it is an undeniable portal that supports your full waking embodiment. This is your invitation to be what you truly are, which can’t be named or objectified but which is undeniably your very presence.
Retreat is a time to put away what otherwise distracts you, and welcome the deep energies that are calling you forward into being totally alive and radically authentic.
