Conscious Living Workshop
Saturday, Mar 9, 2013, 9:00 AM
Sunday, Mar 10, 2013, 4:00 PM (All times are local to the event.)
The root of human suffering is self-judgment, the belief that something is wrong with us, that we are not worthy of love. This fundamental lack of security translates into anxiety, depression, addiction, and burnout.
Learning to love ourselves is both a psychological and spiritual journey.
During our time together, we will cultivate self-acceptance through music, meditation, reflection, inquiry, sharing and laughter. In the compassionate shelter of one another we will have the opportunity to lay aside the "false self" and step into the radiance of who we really are.
In this retreat, you will:
“The experience was so much greater than I expected. I was amazed at how deep of a connection that was created in such a short time. The music was very beautiful and inspiring. I always felt at ease and peaceful during every session.”
“Joan and Karen created a sacred space and cultivated a soul-opening and deeply revelatory experience. Keep having women’s retreats!“
"Karen and Joan: Thank you for the magical experience of sharing your presence... You provided an engaging and creative opportunity for self exploration, guiding us through music and your wisdom."
