Join women business leaders and social entrepreneurs at the INVITATIONAL Social Venture Institute (SVI) for an intensive, interactive inquiry into how to face the day-to-day challenges of running a socially conscious enterprise. Take advantage of this opportunity to fine tune business strategies, learn best practices for solving problems and build long lasting relationships with business peers and mentors.

Social Venture Institute Women offers the mission-based entrepreneurs an opportunity to share challenges, successes, and experiences with peers in an atmosphere of trust and goodwill. Each attendee brings a commitment of social change to their enterprise, whether a for-profit business or a non-profit organization. Over 21 years, SVI has provided over 2,500 entrepreneurs the opportunity to strengthen their business skills, network with other social enterprise leaders, and rejuvenate their passion and vision.

About the Presenter(s): 

Pamela Chaloult is an empathic leader who offers results-focused wisdom to individuals, nonprofits and for profits. As a natural relationship weaver, Pamela has a history of cultivating high-caliber relationships to instigate change and transformation which she imbued in her executive leadership positions at BALLE, Renewal Funds and Social Venture Network (SVN). Prior to, she spent a decade working in the entertainment industry where she cultivated a love of story-telling. As a lifelong learner Pamela possesses a passion for healing and the advancement of women leaders. She is the board chair of the TahDah Foundation and Co-Exec Producer of SVI Hollyhock and lives in Oakland, CA with her husband, daughter and frisky cat.


Martha Belcher is a growth strategist, helping mission-driven companies to grow and visionary entrepreneurs to thrive. She provides her clients with strategic support in the areas of growth planning, customer experience, leadership development, operational efficiency, and risk management. Clients build their business acumen, work through their fears, overcome their constraints, and grow enterprises with strong bones and supple sinews, allowing for rates of growth that are real and right for them. As the founding employee at Sungevity, Martha built the infrastructure and team that launched the company into one of the fastest growing residential solar companies in the U.S.. Her career has ranged from environmental and human rights activist (Friends of the Earth Indonesia, Greenpeace, Rainforest Action Network), convener of conscious enterprise networks and events (Social Venture Network, Social Venture Institute), and founding employee of multiple start-ups (Sungevity, David Brower Center, Social Venture Institute, Borneo Project, 1000 Flowers). She sits on various for and non-profit boards and calls Berkeley, California her home.
