Beyond the Yellow Brick Road

The Quest for Healing, Wholeness, and Individuation

Saturday, June 3, 2017 - 10:00am to 5:30pm
Presenter(s):
Dr. Kayleen Asbo, Veriditas Faculty

Location

EarthRise Transformative Learning Center
101 San Antonio Road
Petaluma, California 94952
United States
Description:

In this one day myth and labyrinth workshop, we'll discover how the 1939 classic film The Wizard of Oz mirrors the alchemical process of individuation and how the smash Broadway musical Wicked stands as a powerful illustration of how to befriend and integrate the hidden and unacknowledged parts of the psyche-- what Jung called the Shadow.  Guided journaling, art activities, and small group sharing will enhance your insights into your own quest for wholeness, culminating in a ritual of integration at a private outdoor labyrinth walk. Serves as a Qualifying workshop for those seeking to attend Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator Training.
