'The Solar Revolution' This is a terrific film which talks about the current discoveries about the electro-magnetic fields in the cosmos and their effects on human biology, including the functioning of the brain and perception. Dr. Rick Strassman, the author of 'DMT-The Spirit Molecule and Rupert Sheldrake - Morphic fields of consciousness, appear in the documentary along with many other scientists who are the free-thinkers of this new scientific/spiritual age.

I suggest a film that worked for me and can work for anyone. I'm just an ordinary Joe with a true story that can change the world. It begins with my life in ruins and proceeds with action that anyone would believe would fail.

In 1975, I legally attacked the brutal and powerful IRS by my lonesome, without a formal legal education. With odds a million to one against me any lawyer would tell you, I beat the IRS. In 1975, I cut from the herd and went to sea, with no experience at sea, on a 37 foot sloop. While at sea, inexplicably, I saved seven lives, including my own, from a watery grave.

From a life in ruins to a charmed life, all my dreams coming true, the world facing disaster, and no answers, I don't hear my answers from anyone.

We screened /Beyond the Physical/ in Austin this week and highly recommend it for group meetings. Part II in The Path Documentary Series by healer April Hannah and filmmaker Michael Habernig, the movie investigates the topics of out-of-body phenomena, remote viewing, and multiple dimensions. Details with trailer are available on the Series' website at http://thepathseries.com.

We did a public screening of the film Being in Heaven, as a fundraiser and it was very well received. This film is about the Law of Attraction and is one of the best narratives of the Law I have seen on film. We sold out of DVD's and had to order more - attendees really took an interest in the content. One of its selling features is a thirty seven page eBook about the Law which we made available (free) to attendees after the screning. This is a feature length movie from Australia and offers reasonable arrangements for fund raising. Watch a trailer at their site www.beinginheaven.com

The best of the New Thought films I've seen is "I AM," written and directed by Hollywood director Tom Shadyac. Beware when you shop for the DVD (through IONS) at Amazon. There's another, poorer DVD with the same title listed. Be sure it's the one by Shadyac. The DVD has not yet been released to Amazon as of 5-16-11, but you can get on a waiting list. The film features IONS' very own Dean Radin at his best, also Lynne McTaggart, Heartmath's Rollin McCarty, Desmond Tutu, Rumi scholar Coleman Barks, and others. "Earth2100", an ABC News film that uses 2009 science to look into the future.

It's an idea that most of us would rather not think about -- that within the next century, life as we know it could come to an end. Our civilization could crumble, leaving only traces of modern human existence behind. It seems outlandish, extreme, even impossible. But according to cutting edge scientific research, it's a real possibility -- unless we make drastic changes now.

"The Buddha". A very engaging film about the Buddha and his message.

Two and a half millennia ago, a new religion was born in India, generated from the ideas of the Buddha, a mysterious Indian sage who gained enlightenment while he sat under a large, shapely fig tree. The Buddha never claimed to be God or his emissary on earth, only that he was a human being who had found a kind of serenity that others could find, too. This documentary tells the story of his life, a journey especially relevant in our own times.

"Healing Words-Poetry and Medicine". This film provides great fodder for discussion in any IONS community group:

This documentary tells the stories of patients whose lives have been dramatically changed as a result of Dr. John Graham-Pole and poetry therapist John Fox's incorporation of poetry into their recovery process. At a time when Americans have grown cynical about health-care, this film affirms that poetry and art can build understanding and compassion between doctor and patient and help facilitate healing among the most critically ill.

Try "Indigo". From the website (http://www.montereymedia.com/independent/indigo.html):

    Starring: Neale Donald Walsch
Written by : James Twyman, and Neale Donald Walsch
    Directed by: Stephen Simon

Through the eyes of a child, the world can be a wondrous place. Through the eyes of an Indigo child, a more enlightened path can be embarked upon.

This poignant new film co-written by and starring Neale Donald Walsch (author of the bestselling "Conversations With God") weaves the journey of a troubled family with the search for understanding that can bring them together.

Highly recommend the documentary, "For the Next 7 Generations". Here is a quote from their website (http://www.forthenext7generations.com/home.php):

In 2004, thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers from all four corners, moved by their concern for our planet, came together at a historic gathering, where they decided to form an alliance: The International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers. This is their story. Four years in-the-making and shot on location in the Amazon rainforest, the mountains of Mexico, North America, and at a private meeting with the Dalai Lama in India, For the Next 7 Generations follows what happens when these wise women unite. Facing a world in crisis, they share with us their visions of healing and a call for change now, before it's too late. This film documents their unparalleled journey and timely perspectives on a timeless wisdom.
