Biography

KIRK SCHNEIDER, PhD, is a psychologist, president of the Existential-Humanistic Institute, and a faculty member of Saybrook Graduate School. In late 2005, he will become editor of the Journal of Humanistic Psychology. This article was adapted from his book, Rediscovery of Awe (Paragon House, 2004).
