Kate McCallum is the founder of c3: Center for Conscious Creativity, which launched in 2005 as a research, education, and creative collective dedicated to emerging and future trends in arts, media, consciousness, and creativity. She holds an MA in Consciousness Studies from the University of Philosophical Research and is an arts and entertainment industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the production and development of mainstream entertainment at Universal and Paramount Studios and, most recently, the LA Opera. Kate founded and is CEO of her own transmedia company, Bridge Arts Media, LLC, and was recently made a Fellow of the Society for New Communications Research. In January of 2010, Kate was invited to Chair the creation of a Global Arts and Media Node for the Millennium Project, a global futurist think tank. She is based in Los Angeles and maintains an office and studio at the Brewery Artist Colony with her partner, Ed Lantz.
