Ann Frost was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and has lived there all her life. She has a BC teaching certificate, a BA in English and History, an MA in Counselling Psychology, and an MA in Communications Theory and Practice. She worked as a teacher and a counselor in the public school system and then moved to Douglas Community College where she was a counselor and a community educator, and an instructor primarily in the field of communication theory and practice.
