Jim B. Tucker, MD
Jim B. Tucker, MD, is the Bonner-Lowry Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia, where he is also the director of the Division of Perceptual Studies. He is continuing Ian Stevenson’s work on children who report memories of previous lives and is the author of two books on this topic, Life Before Life: A Scientific Investigation of Children’s Memories of Previous Lives and Return to Life: Extraordinary Cases of Children Who Remember Past Lives—both have both been translated into twenty languages. Dr. Tucker is also a board-certified child psychiatrist and served as the medical director of the UVA Child and Family Psychiatry Clinic for nine years.
