Opportunities to Participate
Tabletop Talks
Self-organized tabletop talks will also take place at the conference breakfasts. Sign up on-site to lead a table in discussion about a topic that interests you.
Scientific Poster Session
Emerging noetic scientists are encouraged to submit an abstract for consideration for a scientific poster session at the IONS conference. This poster session will be geared toward undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral students who are conducting studies on consciousness or in the noetic sciences. One author from each accepted poster will be offered a discounted rate to attend the conference, and abstracts will be highlighted on the IONS website.

Volunteer Work Exchange Program
IONS offers a Volunteer Work Exchange Program to lighten any financial burden of attending the conference. A $185 fee and 20 hours of conference-related work covers the cost of registration. Pre-Conference Institutes are an additional $60 plus 3 hours of work, and Post-Conference Institutes are $15 plus 2 hours of work. PLEASE NOTE: The Volunteer Work Exchange Program discounted rate does not cover travel, lodging, or meals, and the volunteer fee is not refundable.
We need volunteers for the success of this conference, and it is a wonderful way to participate. Please apply early, as the number of positions is limited. Contact our volunteer coordinator Justine MacLean at JMacLean@noetic.org.
Exhibitors
A special “Noetic Village” vendor/exhibitor hall offers a limited number of booths for a fee of $850 ($650 for nonprofit organizations). For more information and to receive an exhibitor application packet, please contact Justine MacLean at JMacLean@noetic.org.
Meet and Greet for Community Group Coordinators, Regional Representatives, and Country Contacts
Friday, July 22, 2011, from 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm
The IONS Member Council invites you to a Volunteer Gathering where we can spend some time getting to know one another—our interests, ideas, and desires for a closer relationship with each other and IONS. Come and share a cup of tea or coffee and tell us what you have been doing to bring the joy of learning to your groups. Those who are interested in starting a Community Group are welcome too.

Youth Scholarships
Some scholarships are available for students aged 18 to 25. To obtain a scholarship application, please email conference@noetic.org.
