We were deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of of our longtime supporter, Dr. Annette Vaillancourt of St. Louis, MO.

In both her psychotherapy practice and in daily life, Annette was a unique being who had a significant impact on those who knew her. Family, friends, colleagues, and clients describe her as a remarkable woman, a “beautiful soul and true friend to the world.”

Annette is missed deeply and profoundly, yet there is solace in the fact that the positive marks she left on this world will be felt for years to come. We are truly grateful that her passions included the work we do at IONS; not only did she make an annual gift year-after-year for nearly two decades, she also remembered us in her will, ensuring that her legacy as a “genuine friend to humanity” will continue on. We are truly thankful for her thoughtful generosity.

If you too can imagine leaving a legacy that transforms society for years to come, please visit the Planned Giving section of our website, where you will find information on how to make this vision a reality.
